Privacy policy

Short version: Euclid keeps your data on your Mac. We don't run analytics, ads or tracking in the app or on this site.

What stays on your Mac

• Clipboard history, browser history, indexed pages, notes and learned rankings are stored in ~/Library/Application Support/Euclid and never sent to us.
• Your config lives in ~/.config/euclid. Actions you write run on your Mac, under your control.

When Euclid uses the network

• Updates: the app checks our update feed on GitHub. That request includes your IP address and app version, as any web request does.
• Integrations you turn on (for example Bitbucket) talk directly from your Mac to that service, using your own token stored in your Keychain.
• Page indexing (off by default) fetches pages you already visited, directly from your Mac.
• Licences: checking a licence key contacts Paddle, our payment provider.

Purchases

Paddle.com handles checkout as Merchant of Record and processes your name, email, address and payment details under the Paddle privacy policy. We receive your name, email, country and order details to support your licence.

This website

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, which keeps standard server logs. It sets no cookies and loads no analytics.
